WHAT IS HYDRO EXCAVATION?

Hydro excavation is also known as daylighting, vacuum excavation, hydro vac excavation, hydro digging, hydro trenching,

soft digging and sucker truck. It is a safer alternative to traditional machine excavation and is done by cutting the ground
with pressurized, heated water. The water and cut material are vacuumed into a debris tank, leaving a clean, precise dig.

Unlike conventional digging methods, most often the hydro excavator is still on the road leaving only a trench or hole to

repair, unlike other equipment that can result in thousands of dollars of repair costs. The hydro excavation method is very precise, non destructive, clean, and quick. By using this method, there is no breaking of cables, gas lines, fibre pipes, etc.

This is the future of digging around utilities: It’s safe and will result in lower costs and faster performance.
